Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in a comparable way. This page lists what satisfyrecipes.net uses.
Cookies set by this website
- Comment cookies (comment_author_*): only set if you tick “Save my name, email, and website in this browser” when commenting. They pre-fill the form next time and last about one year.
- Login cookies (wordpress_*, wp-settings-*): only for people who sign in to manage the site. Readers never need to sign in.
- Recipe checklist (local storage, sr-checked-*): remembers the ingredients you ticked on a recipe card. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.
Third-party cookies
- Koko Analytics (self-hosted visitor statistics). Counts page views, visitors and referring websites so we know which recipes are useful. It runs on our own server: no data is sent to a third party, and no personal profile is built. It sets no cookies. To count unique visitors it creates a temporary, anonymous hash of your IP address and browser user agent combined with a random value that is replaced every day; the hashes are deleted daily and cannot be linked back to you.
Managing cookies
Where consent is required, non-essential cookies are only set after you agree, and you can change your choice at any time with the “Privacy choices” link in the footer when it is shown. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the recipes on this site keep working without them.
