These are the standards every recipe and article on Satisfy Recipes is held to.
Original and credited recipes
We write our own recipe text, instructions and notes. When a recipe is inspired by or adapted from another cook, book or website, the recipe card says so and links to the source where possible. We never copy another publication’s recipe text or photographs.
Testing
A recipe card marked “Tested in our kitchen” means we cooked that exact recipe, with the listed amounts and times, before publishing or updating it. [EDIT: Describe your testing process honestly, for example how many times you test and with what equipment.]
Times, servings and nutrition
Preparation and cooking times are measured, not guessed. Nutrition information is shown only when we have calculated it with a named tool or database, and it is always labelled as an estimate. We do not make health claims.
Photography
[EDIT: State who takes the photos, for example “All photographs are taken by our team of the dishes as described”, and how you credit licensed images.]
Use of AI tools
[EDIT: Explain honestly if and how you use AI tools. A common standard is: “We do not publish recipes generated by AI. Every recipe is developed, cooked and written by a person. We may use software for spelling, grammar or unit conversion checks.”]
Updates and corrections
When we materially change a recipe, we update it and show the “Updated” date on the page. If you spot an error, please tell us through our Contact page; we review every report and correct mistakes promptly.
Reviews and ratings
We do not display star ratings or testimonials unless they come from genuine readers through a review system on this site.
Advertising and sponsorship
Advertising is labelled and kept separate from recipe content. Sponsored posts and gifted products are always disclosed at the top of the post. Advertisers and sponsors do not approve or change our recipes. See our Disclosures.
